With school in full-swing and all of the nightly activities and sports, we had to make sure that we ‘carved-out’ some time to go to the pumpkin patch!\u00a0This year, we went to Grandma and Pop-Pop’s house (Mark’s parents) for a visit and took a trip to the pumpkin farm in their town.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n We had so much fun and the highlight for the girls was the corn maze.\u00a0This wasn’t just any corn maze…it was a few miles worth of twists and turns and hundreds of paths!\u00a0The fun part \u2014 and unique idea \u2014 was that we were given a punch card and had to find all of the characters from the Wizard of Oz.\u00a0Once you found someone<\/em> or something<\/em>, there was a hole punch there for you to mark it on your card. The girls thought that this was the coolest thing EVER and had me running around like a nut!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n While I was running around, sweatin’ bullets, and lost with the girls in the\u00a0maze,\u00a0Grandma stayed behind and\u00a0played with Grady in a corn box \u2014 it was literally a big shed filled with hardened corn to play in, instead of sand \u2014 which I thought\u00a0was a really neat idea!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Like all of you, we’ve been very busy around here!
