Like all of you, we’ve been very busy around here! With school in full-swing and all of the nightly activities and sports, we had to make sure that we ‘carved-out’ some time to go to the pumpkin patch! This year, we went to Grandma and Pop-Pop’s house (Mark’s parents) for a visit and took a trip to the pumpkin farm in their town.
We had so much fun and the highlight for the girls was the corn maze. This wasn’t just any corn maze…it was a few miles worth of twists and turns and hundreds of paths! The fun part — and unique idea — was that we were given a punch card and had to find all of the characters from the Wizard of Oz. Once you found someone or something, there was a hole punch there for you to mark it on your card. The girls thought that this was the coolest thing EVER and had me running around like a nut!
While I was running around, sweatin’ bullets, and lost with the girls in the maze, Grandma stayed behind and played with Grady in a corn box — it was literally a big shed filled with hardened corn to play in, instead of sand — which I thought was a really neat idea!

Lat year, I stubbed my toe on this huge pumpkin. I really squashed it.

That maze sounds amazing. I would love to do something like that, but would probably get very lost!

Love the pictures! I have some of my favorite scrapbook pages throughout the years of the kids at the pumpkin patch. I even used them for Christmas cards one year!
Thanks so much for stopping by my open house; you had asked me who did my design and it was Amy at Designer Blogs. Highly recommend!
